Gravitational Waves and AI-Assisted Research
Ondas Gravitacionales e Investigación Asistida por IA — a five-day graduate course. Two subjects taught at once: how gravitational-wave astronomy works, and how to do research with AI agents. Each day carries one of each.
Before the first class
setup/ — Python and four packages, and doctor.py, which changes nothing and prints a report of what is missing. Fixing whatever it reports, with the agent rather than by hand, is the first exercise of the course. It opens on GitHub, where the instructions are written.
Everything else
- The exercises — every exercise the course sets, in one file. Each one names a way of working first and a physics task to run it on second; the physics is interchangeable and you may bring your own.
- The final project — a problem of your own, done the whole way through, with the provenance written down as you go.
- The projects — every student's final project, with its author and links to the repository, the page and the PDF.
- Using the tools — the vocabulary, in one place, for anything the sessions assume you have met.
